We stand with you in praying for your sister Chelsey, and we appreciate your heartfelt request. We need to clarify the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is only by His name that we can be saved.
As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
And in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Let us pray together for Chelsey in the name of Jesus:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Chelsey. We pray that You would guide her in the right way, that You would be her protector, and that no evil or harm would come to her. Help her to understand everything is under God's control. Reveal to her that she is deeply loved by You and that she is a child of God. Lead her not into temptation, “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes” (Ephesians 6:11), and deliver her from any evil.
We ask for Your divine intervention in this circumstance her upcoming court case, we know all judgment belongs to God so enfold her and guide her every step of the way. Turn her situation around for good, and open doors for a positive change towards a better, more normal, happy, and healthy life. Surround her with godly influences, and help her to avoid negative people who may wish her harm “Be not deceived: Evil companionships corrupt good morals” (1 Corinthians 15:33). Let her see the light of Jesus and be drawn to Him.
Encourage your hurting sister with Philippians 4:6 WEB
David wrote in Psalms 34:17 WEB
The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
Show her the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in her prayers, as it is through Him that we receive salvation. As Isaac Watts wrote in the hymn At the Cross ,“But drops of grief can ne’er repay the debt of love I owe. Here, Lord, I give myself away. Tis all that I can do.” . This is the joy that God offers in 1 Peter 1:8 WEB
whom not having known you love; in whom, though now you don't see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory
she can have to a better life and a deeper relationship with God.
In Jesus' name, we pray these things. Amen.
