We are truly sorry to hear about your sister-in-law's critical condition. Let us stand with you in prayer and faith, seeking God's intervention and healing.
Firstly we want to make sure we are addressing our requests to God through Jesus Christ. It is only through His son Jesus Christ that our prayers will be answered. Here is what Jesus said: "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. " Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." John 16:23-24.
In the Book of James, we are encouraged to pray for one another so that we may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Let us pray together for your sister-in-law's healing. Here is the scripture: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." James 5:14-16
Heavenly Father, in Jesus' name, we lift up our sister-in-law, who is currently in the ICU with severe heart failure and increased bilirubin. We ask for Your divine intervention and healing touch upon her body. We pray for an improvement in her heart function and liver function, that she may be strengthened and made healthy enough to undergo a bilateral lung transplant. We ask you, God, to align her will with yours and will have the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as her savior.
Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We claim Your promises of healing and restoration, and we ask for Your will to be done in her life. We also pray for the doctors, nurses, and medical staff attending to her, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom and discernment in her treatment and care.
As her family members, we ask God to grant them peace and strength in this time of uncertainty and distress. We pray that they would trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, and that this situation would draw them closer to You.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
During this challenging time, let us encourage you to meditate on God's Word and trust in His promises. Remember that He is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Here is another scripture to encourage you: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
