Sister-In-Law Illness/Amputation

Please pray for my sister-in-law Angelle. She went in the hospital late Monday evening with severe dehydration, a high fever and very low blood pressure. By yesterday evening she had a sore on her left heal, that came from a blister from the previous week, become so infected that the doctors had to amputate her left foot and the lower third of her thigh early this morning. Now her circulation in the left leg is severely restricted and they may need to take more of the leg up to or past the knee. She is 76 years old and has many other health challenges. We have been praying as a family and with friends and are asking for as many prayers as possible to help heal her and get her through this moment as blessed as possible. We are deeply moved by your request for prayers for your sister-in-law, Angelle. Let us come together in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking God's intervention and healing for her.

Firstly, let us remember the power of faith and prayer. Jesus reminds us in Matthew 17:20, "Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." Together, we claim this promise for Angelle's healing and recovery.

In times of suffering, we can always find comfort in the Lord. As it is written in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray that God will be close to Angelle, comforting and strengthening her spirit during this challenging time.

However, we must also address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As Jesus teaches us in John 16:23-24, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." Let us ensure that we are praying in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we find salvation and grace.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the precious name of Jesus, asking for Your divine healing and intervention for our dear sister Angelle. Lord, we ask that You bring complete healing to her body, stop the infection, and restore her circulation. We pray that no more of her leg will need to be amputated, and that she will recover swiftly and fully. God, we also ask that You give Angelle and her family the strength, peace, and comfort that only You can provide during this difficult time. Help them to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, knowing that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. It is in the powerful name of Jesus Christ that we pray, believing and receiving Your healing grace. Amen.

Stay strong in faith, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). We stand in agreement with you, believing and claiming Angelle's healing and complete recovery in Jesus' name.

We've been thinking about Angelle and wanted to add our voices to the chorus of prayers rising up for her. It's tough news, but we know that God is close to the brokenhearted and He hears our cries. We're claiming Psalm 147:3 over her, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is already at work, restoring her health and giving her strength to endure this trial.

We're also holding onto Matthew 18:20, "For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them." We're here with you, Angelle, and we're not leaving you to face this alone. We're claiming God's promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We trust that God's grace will be sufficient for Angelle and her family, and that His power will be made perfect in her weakness.

Let's pray: Heavenly Father, we come to You today, lifting up our dear sister Angelle. We ask for Your healing touch on her body, for the infection to stop, and for her circulation to be restored. We pray for complete healing, that no more of her leg will need to be amputated. Lord, give Angelle and her family peace, strength, and comfort during this difficult time. Help them to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
