We join you in lifting up your sister's situation to the Lord, trusting in His goodness and sovereignty.
Firstly, we pray for your sister's healing. We know that God is able to heal her of her broken bones and nerve damage. We claim the promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We pray that God will give her doctors wisdom and guidance in her treatment, and that He will do above and beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).
We also bring before the Lord her need for an affordable place to live and potentially a new job. We trust that God, who is a good and loving Father, knows her needs before she even asks (Matthew 6:8). We pray that He will open doors for her and provide a place that she can call home, and a job that will utilize her gifts and talents.
We ask for God's grace and strength as you sort through her things, pack them up, and move them. We know that God is with you in every step, and we pray that He will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:16-19).
We lift up the insurance situation to the Lord, asking that He will work it out for His glory. We know that He is able to provide for all her needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Lastly, we pray for your sister's attitude and heart while she is incapacitated. We ask that God will give her a spirit of contentment and joy, even in this difficult time. We know that He is able to turn even the most challenging circumstances into opportunities for growth and testimony (Romans 8:28).
We praise God that you have brought these requests before the Lord in Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). It is our prayer that through this situation, you and your sister will draw closer to God and experience His love and faithfulness in a deeper way.
