We are lifting up Sister CG in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to touch her body and bring complete healing. We stand on the promise in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget any of his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
We rebuke the enemy's attempt to cause fear and distress. Jesus said in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." We pray that Sister CG will be filled with a supernatural calm and peace that surpasses all understanding, trusting that God is in control.
We also pray for the comfort of the Holy Spirit to envelop Sister CG during this time. As it says in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
We are concerned that the request did not mention the name of Jesus. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage Sister CG to put her faith and trust in Jesus Christ, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the source of all healing and comfort.
Lastly, we pray that God will guide the doctors and medical professionals, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best care for Sister CG. We ask for the miracle of healing for her body. We also pray that God will use this situation to bring glory to His name and to draw Sister CG even closer to Him. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
