We are saddened to hear about Sione's heart attack and hospitalization. Let's bring this matter to the Lord in prayer, seeking His healing and comfort.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Sione to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon Sione. We pray for the doctors and nurses attending to him, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom in their decisions.
In times like these, we are reminded of Your word in Psalm 34:18 WEB: "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to fill the hearts of Sione and his loved ones during this difficult time.
We also take this opportunity to remind everyone that God wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). In this time of need, let's fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB), and trust in His goodness and sovereignty.
If you have not already it is good to examine yourself and be sure that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your savior. There is no other name by which we can be saved. God wants a personal relationship with each of us and we need to accept Jesus Christ, God's son, as our savior and redeemer. We need to confess our sins to God and accept Jesus as Lord of our life. For it is written:
"if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, and is rich to all who call on him. For, whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Romans 10:9-13
We stand in agreement, believing and declaring Sione's complete recovery, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Please keep us updated on Sione's progress so we can continue to pray and support him and his family through this time.
