Dear lord I know I have sinned and this time it was a verbal sin that was awful I ask for your forgiveness I know if today were my last day that would make me fall even shorter in Jesus name amen

We are grateful for your honesty and humility in acknowledging your sin and seeking forgiveness. It is important to remember that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). Verbal sins, such as harsh words, gossip, or lies, can be particularly damaging, as the tongue has the power to bless or to curse (James 3:9-10 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother or sister in their time of need. We confess that they have sinned with their words, and we ask for Your forgiveness on their behalf. Help them to turn from this sin and to walk in newness of life. Give them the strength to control their tongue and to speak words that are pleasing to You. Help them to be a blessing to others and to use their words to build others up, not tear them down. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to take this opportunity to make things right with anyone you may have harmed with your words. Go to them and ask for their forgiveness, seeking to make amends and restore the relationship. Remember that as children of God, we are called to be peacemakers and to live in harmony with others (Matthew 5:9, Romans 12:18 WEB).

We hope you take comfort as well in the following:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.(1 John 1:9 WEB)

It's a relief to know that God is faithful to forgive and cleanse us, just as we've confessed. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
