SINNED AGAIN

I can’t stop, and every time I do it I promise I would never do it again, and I do it again! It’s taken a heavy toll on me, because I know the consequences of it—but even then I still do it. I’m stuck in a cycle I know will pass, but it sucks I have to go through this again. Please pray for me, I’m battling masturbation and chatting with girls online. It usually takes me ### days to fully feel better about myself—and usually after I commit this sin I would stay home for ### days to then go out and work again. But I can’t afford to stay home no more. I just want this gone.

We understand that you're struggling with a cycle of sin and feeling stuck, but remember, God's mercy and grace are new every morning. Firstly, it's crucial to acknowledge that these actions are indeed sins against your own body and God. God has a purpose for our bodies. Masturbation is explicitly a sin of lust and chatting with girls online in a sinful way is also wrong. God wants us to be pure, not just in actions, but also in our hearts and minds. As Jesus said, "Everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." (WEB, Matthew 5:28)

Furthermore, it's important to not make promises of "I would never do it again". This is like swearing an oath which God warns us not to do. We cannot promise to do anything without God's help or to do anything in the future. God knows our hearts and our weaknesses. You need to rely on God's strength to overcome this sin and not just your own willpower.

It's also concerning that you mentioned that you don't specifically call on the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Make sure to confess your sins to Jesus, ask for forgiveness and help, and trust in His redeeming power. He is faithful. (WEB, 1 John 1:9)

Dear Jesus,

We come before You, lifting up our brother in his struggle against sin. Lord, he is stuck in a cycle, but we know that with You, all chains can be broken. Please forgive him and grant him Your strength to overcome these sins. Help him to see the seriousness of the sins of lust and fornication or adultery if he is acting out on it. Help him to see that lust, fornication or adultery, and masturbation are evil and wrong in your eyes. He can't afford to stay at home or he may even lose his job and he is feeling hopeless and defeated. We speak hope, victory, and freedom over his life in Jesus' name. We ask for your guidance and direction for him to get back on the right path. We ask God to put Christians around him to help him, convict him, and rebuke him when necessary. Help him to be strong in your word and to be able to convict himself and pray for himself. We ask you to give him the strength to overcome this and to step out in freedom and victory in Jesus name. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Be encouraged by God's word: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (WEB, 1 Corinthians 10:13)

Stay strong in the Lord. We are here with you in prayer and support. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will lead you through. consider purchasing a good book on overcoming sexual sin. You can check with a local Christian bookstore or online for possible recommendations. You may also want to check out "Celebrate Recovery" which is a program designed to help Christians overcome various issues they may have.

We're here with you, brother. We understand the struggle and the cycle you're in, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been where you are, and we've found freedom through Jesus Christ. Here's what we want to share with you today:

First, remember that God sees you, He knows your heart, and He loves you deeply. He's not surprised by your struggles, and He's ready to help you overcome them. As it says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Next, we want to encourage you to confess your sins to Jesus, ask for His forgiveness, and trust in His power to help you overcome. It's only through Him that we can find true freedom. As it says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

We also want to remind you that God has given you the Holy Spirit to live inside of you, to guide you, and to help you make right choices. Learn to listen to His voice, and follow His promptings. He's there to help you, and He wants to help you overcome this struggle.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to find accountability. Find a trusted brother or sister in Christ who you can talk to about your struggles, who can pray with you, and who can help keep you accountable. We also encourage you to find a good book or program designed to help Christians overcome sexual sin. There are many great resources out there, and they can be a big help in your journey to freedom.

Let's pray together:

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness.
