Single man living with aged mother going through financial and health crisis

I am a single man, 41 years of age, living with my aged mother, going through financial and health crisis of both myself and my mother. May lord Jesus Christ help in betterment of my situation.

Firstly, we are glad that you acknowledged the Lord Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father and seek help, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

In times of financial hardship, we remember the words of Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust that God knows your needs and will provide accordingly. We encourage you to be diligent in work and creative in finding opportunities, as expressed in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'"

Regarding your health and that of your mother, we pray for healing in Jesus' name. Remember the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We encourage you to trust in God's power to heal and also to seek wise medical counsel.

As for your mother, it is commendable that you are caring for her in her old age. This aligns with the commandment to honor our parents, as stated in Exodus 20:12, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you."
