Every single Israelite were singing praises to God almighty when they were freed from bondage in Egypt. Beautiful words were said just like this one...
I will sing to the Lord.
For He is hightly exalted.
Both horse and driver,
He has hurled into the sea.
The Lord is my strenght and my defense.
He has become my salvation.
He is my God and I will praise Him.
My fathers God and I will exalt Him.
The Lord is a warrior.
The Lord is His name.
Let us all raise our voices to Jesus, our dear Savior and Lord. Singing can be good for anyone of us at any level we are living in. It helps lower stress and worry. It drives satan away from us. Boosts immunity and lung function. We draw closer to the heart of God. Good tiding we bring to the feet of our Lord. It will enhance memory, improve mental health and will help cope with physical and emotional pain. Singing is feeling and touching the heart of God. Whenever we sing songs of praise to God we give glory to HIs holy name. Something inside of us needs to express something beyond words. As for me, I will say this to the Lord.
I will sing of Thy power, yea, I will sing aloud of Thy mercy in the morning, for Thou has been my defence and refuge in time of trouble.
Psalm 59.16
