Hello. I am Sophia from South Korea. I am writing this to request prayer...
I have been praying for my grandmother who has been suffering from ovarian cancer. Despite of hard times with chemotherapy, she has been staying strong in her sincere faith towards Jesus Christ. Even while she’s having these hard times, she has been always caring about family first, not herself. Whenever I massage her hands or worry about her, she always says sorry to me for making me worried.
The only reason why she wants to get healed is because of my grandfather suffering from Alzheimer’s. He makes phone calls on my grandmother, my mother, and other family members more than three times an hour “Where is my wife? She is not home, where is she?” Then, My grandmother always receives the phone calls from hospital and always makes him comfortable by saying “I will be home so soon. I love you.” My grandfather became like an young and cute child who needs mother all the time. I felt huge pain on my heart.
Every process seemed to be going well, but the cancer got bigger despite of chemotherapy, and now doctor says that he wouldn’t be able to help to heal my grandmother with chemotherapy because my grandmother’s condition seems so bad to proceed therapy. She got symtom of ascites all of sudden, and doctor said the cancer's spread to the lungs. My Aunt living in the United States came to South Korea to see my grandmother (her mother) but now she is in hotel for self-isolating due to Corona’s situation, and my mother has sincerely taken care of my grandmother with all her heart and soul. My youngest uncle started to go to church and deeply pray God. I have received amazing love from my grandmother and have seen and learned how to live as Christian. All of my family still needs my grandmother so much, and especially my grandfather needs my grandmother. He cannot live his life without my grandmother even just 1 hour..1 day after he got Alzheimer's.
And today, she will need to make signature on the paper of life-prolonging treatment. She decided not to take the life-prolonging treatment. However, I still believe god is almighty god and greater than the signature, the paper thing, doctor, and anything of this world.
I strongly believe and pray that god will save and heal my grandmother by removing all the cancers from her body. I sincerely request for anyone who reads this to pray for my grandmother to get healed. Her name is Kwon Chun-Ja.
