Dexter2020, we understand that you're experiencing frustration and have some misunderstandings about grace and sin. Let's address these issues together, seeking God's will and guidance in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we must clarify that our faith in Jesus Christ does not give us a license to sin. In fact the WEB says,
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?
Or don't you know that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.
For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will also be part of his resurrection;
knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
For he who has died has been freed from sin.
But God be thanked, that, whereas you were servants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were delivered.
Being made free from sin, you became servants of righteousness.
Romans 6:1-18 WEB.
God's grace is not a permission to live in sin, but rather an empowerment to overcome it. Jesus Christ died to set us free from the bondage of sin, not to encourage us to continue in it.
Secondly, let's address the frustration you feel towards God for not answering your prayer.
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don't lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB
God's timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than our ways. We must trust that He is working everything out for our good, even when we don't understand or see immediate results.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister Dexter2020. Lord, we ask that You forgive them for any bitterness or frustration they may feel. Help them to understand the true meaning of Your grace and the power it has to set them free from sin. Please bless and have mercy on Dexter2020 and give them patience to wait on Your perfect timing. Help them keep faith in you rather than trying to rush your response to their prayer. Help in trusting that Your ways are higher and greater. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray for your intervention in this situation. Remind them of the Basic Gospel message to Believe in Jesus Christ for your forgiveness of Sin.
And it shall be that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:21
Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. Acts 16:31. For it is by not by just hearing that one is a Christian but in practice and faith in the words of Jesus. Remember the demons believe and shudder James 2:19. Help them trust in the complete forgiveness they have in Jesus Christ. We give this prayer request directly to you, as there is no other intercessor or mediator that you have provided for us, to give this prayer to but to your directly and only in Christ Jesus we can make this request.
