Father, today I praise You for even the most simple blessings in my life. Perhaps it was my own revelation, perhaps You prompted me, but it all started with the soup I had for lunch. As I enjoyed this simple bowl of soup, I became keenly aware of all the blessings that allowed me to have it. You provided the funds to purchase the items I needed to make it, You allowed me to be educated and able to read and follow the recipe, You provided me with a warm home and a functioning kitchen in which to prepare it, You provided me with power to run the microwave that reheated it, I have dishes and napkins, a place to sit and eat and clean, cool water to enjoy with it.

God, I realized, through a simple bowl of soup how loving and gracious You are to me. I really understood that so many people wake up hungry and go to bed hungry, starving not only for food, but for someone to care, someone to reach out. I understood that each of us can do something to help in the form of humble, sincere prayers for those in need. No matter the state of our finances, our jobs, our marriages, we can still pray...and oh how You have shown us what prayer can do.

So today, Father, please bless us with our daily bread and a true appreciation of the blessings in our lives. Help us do what we can to impact the lives of those around us in positive ways for You. Thank You for not only feeding me tangible food, but the bread of life and living water. To You I ascribe all majesty, honor and praise. Thank You for reminding me just how mighty You are. In Jesus' name, amen.

Thank you, K-J for posting such a beautiful and insightful prayer. I also stand in agreement and praise God for all of the blessing that I receive...

Lord, i stand in agreement with this prayer and lord i also thank you for all the little things and all PRAISE to you......IN JESUS NAME AMEN

Lord, I thank you for this post from K-J. You always send me an earthly angel to brighten my day. I thank you and praise you for all my sisters and brothers. For each has touched my life and each is special to me. I thank you for all the blessings you have given me, so many, so very many. There are parts of my past I choose to forget but if I looked deeply I would see your hand at work, even through the darkest hours. I love you Lord and I can never repay you the debt I owe for your sacrifice for not only me but countless generations. Your blessings are everlasting. Your love is imesureable.

May you continue to bless your children. To you be all glory, honor and praise. Amen

Awesome wisdom! Straight from Heaven! Thank You K-J for "listening" and for sharing with us. Yes, we have soooo much to be thankful for, and it starts with the very basics we (me!) often take for granted... all the way to our amazing eternal destiny, secured, bought & paid for, and just around the corner for all of us, really. Life is soooo short! May we heed your admonition and make each moment count today, with gratitude in our hearts and selflessness in serving others in whatever way we can, AND in an attitude of prayer for our brothers and sisters all over the world, who make their needs known on this board.

P.S. Even tho' I don't post much lately, I'm still praying! The Lord brings you all to mind throughout my days and even sometimes wakes me up at night! I know others do the same. Know my friends that those who belong to Christ making their requests known here, are heard by our Amazing Father and are still being lifted up by your brothers and sisters even when you don't realize. So have faith! Put on your spiritual armor! And stand firm!

Father, I thank you for the many Blessing that you have brought to me...Father, I thank you for s #####Brothers and Sisters, I must Stop for a min. and share with you what just happend..

My next words in this email where I left off was (Showing me your Grace and Mercy ) and then the phone rang...It was from the Company that I've been interviewing with for the last 2 weeks...As many of you know I flew out yesterday to Houston, TX to meet with a Regional V.P. that would be my Boss if I was offered a position...Before that I had to interview with two executives from the H.R. Dept. one of which was the V.P of Human Resources...

Anyway, I was asked to come back to there Corp. Offices in New Jersey to meet with the second, third and forth in command of this entire Company, which is a multi Billion Dollar Corporation...Not your Mom and Pop kinda Company..The young lady ( Meagan ) from Human Resources, said to me that they only do this if they plan on making and offer !!!!! But to keep that to myself....

How AWESOME is our GOD !!!!! Brothers and Sisters, I traveled 4 hours yesterday by car, flew 6 long hours and interviewed for two hours...I was spent..I left my house at 6am and didn't get home until 11:30pm...I was tired and dissapointed that a offer was not made after a total of three interviews...So, I came in and started praying for our Lord to give me a sign because I was having doubts that this job was his will for me..I cried and pled with our Lord to PLEASE, PLEASE give me something...My Faith was being tested and I was so upset with myself for not trusting in him as I said I would...

Friends, these are the facts and my deep inner feelings that I share with you today... I think that it's important for all of you to know that any of us no matter how strong your Faith is or how much you love the Lord you can at times reach a point where doubt can set in....The Lord wanted me to share this with each of you that read this....

Brothers and Sisters I don't need to tell you that on Oct 7 2009, seven days from now I with the Strength and Power of our Lord will go and meet these executives and come away with a Job Offer...I say this in Jesus name...To God goes the Glory...Amen and amen...

Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in Heaven…

Matthew 18:19
