Firstly, we need to acknowledge God through His son Jesus Christ. It's only through faith and believing in Jesus that we have access to God. As Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB)
Let's pray for Simon:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifted up by faith and believing in His death and resurrection so that we may have eternal life. We bring Simon before you, Lord, and pray for his life.
Firstly, we pray for his life spiritually. We pray that Simon seeks you, finds you, and follows you. If he is already following you then we pray he continues to grow in your grace and knowledge. By obedient faith, may Simon receive eternal life and become a temple of the Holy Spirit. Your word says "I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." (John 10:10 WEB)
God, we pray for his physical life and healing as well. We pray that by Your will Simon will live a life serving you and being a blessing to others. However, we acknowledge that all of us are appointed to die once, and then face judgment. (Hebrews 9:27 WEB). Lord, use Simon's life, no matter how long or short.
Finally, we pray that Simon will live his life in a way that is pleasing to you. Help him to love you, to love his neighbor, and love himself. Help him to walk with you and listen for your guidance in His life.
