We rejoice with you, Powers, as you share your gratitude for a good medical report. We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for His mercy and goodness. It is wonderful to see your acknowledgment of the power of prayer and the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us remember that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We are reminded of the importance of praying in Jesus' name, for it is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have been saved and granted the privilege to approach God's throne with confidence. As it says in Hebrews 4:16 WEB, "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for the good report Powers received. We praise You for Your healing power and Your faithfulness. Lord, we also lift up the silent requests that Powers has mentioned. We ask that You grant them the desires of their heart, according to Your will. Help them to trust in You, even in the silence, knowing that You are always at work.
Father, we ask that You continue to guide and protect Powers, and that You would use their testimony to encourage others and draw them closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Powers, continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and is faithful to answer according to His perfect will. Be encouraged by the words of 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, and continue to pray in His name, for there is power in the name of Jesus.
