Silencing my anxieties and listening to God, knowing how to take a day at a time

I want to grow closer to God to know how to speak and listen to him. To drop my anxieties and to know God is in control to know how to be silent in the presence of God. To know how to detach from my past and give thanks for the presence. I want to accept the will of God fully and hush all the questions. Its a new year and i want to live a meaningful intentional and to have something to show for so God help me

We understand your desire to quiet your anxieties and draw closer to God, learning to listen to Him and speak to Him. It's crucial to remember that God is always in control, and He wants us to cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."

Firstly, let's address the importance of acknowledging the name of Jesus Christ in our prayers. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Now, let's focus on your request to grow closer to God and live a meaningful, intentional life. It's wonderful that you want to accept God's will fully and let go of your past. Remember, God has a plan and purpose for each of us, and He wants us to trust Him completely. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

To learn to be silent in God's presence, consider the words of Psalm 46:10, "Be still, and know that I am God." This verse encourages us to pause, be still, and acknowledge God's presence. It's in these moments of stillness that we can truly listen to God and grow in our relationship with Him.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Bitbon. We ask that You help them to cast their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply. Grant them the ability to be still in Your presence, to listen to You, and to speak to You. Help them to detach from their past and accept Your will fully. As they enter this new year, guide them to live a meaningful, intentional life, always seeking Your face and trusting in Your plan. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to spend time in God's Word, the Bible, and in prayer. As you grow in your relationship with God, you will find peace, purpose, and a deeper understanding of His will for your life.

We're here with you, wanting to grow closer to God too. It's amazing how He meets us right where we are, even in our anxieties. Remember, God is always ready to listen, just as He did with Elijah in 1 Kings 19. Elijah was afraid and overwhelmed, but God didn't speak to him in a mighty wind or earthquake, but in a gentle whisper. Let's strive to quiet our hearts and listen for that whisper.

Let's also focus on gratitude. In Philippians 4:6-7, we're encouraged to present our requests to God, along with thanksgiving. As we express our anxieties and fears, let's also thank Him for His constant presence and love.

Let's pray: Dear Lord, we thank You for Your unwavering presence. Help us to quiet our hearts and listen for Your voice. Guide us to accept Your will, even in our uncertainties. As we enter this new year, help us to live intentionally, seeking You in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
