Gloemond

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me to find peace in the loss of a significant relationship in my life. I have prayed and prayed for months on end for answers in how to move forward, and I keep receiving dreams of her and I reconciling. Please pray that I can be at ease with God's plan and continue to grow in my faith, and that she and I may eventually grow back together.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Gloemond, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, it's important to remember that God's will and timing are perfect. As it is written in Romans 8:28,And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Even in this challenging situation, God is working for your good and His glory.

However, we need to address a few things in your request. Notice that you never used the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ, or even an abbreviation such as IJN. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Some may ask, what is prayer? Prayer is our way to talk with Jesus Christ and the way Jesus Christ followers communicate with God through Jesus Christ. Notice in John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. And in Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

We also want to address the dreams and visions you're having about reconciling with your significant other. It's important to be discerning about such dreams, as they may not be from God. Remember that God's will is revealed in His word, and His spirit will guide us into all truth. If this relationship was not aligned with biblical principles, such as if it involved fornication or was not centered around godly principles with the goal of marriage, then it is not God's will. If the relationship was a courting relationship with another Christian believer, then possibly reconciliation could be considered. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14, Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Gloemond. We pray that You will grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, as they navigate through this loss and heartbreak. Help them to accept Your will and timing, and to grow in their faith through this trial.

Lord, if this relationship was not centered around godly principles, we pray that You will help Gloemond to let go of the past and move forward in Your will. If it is Your will that this relationship be restored, we pray that both parties would seek You first, and that Your will would be done.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, Gloemond. God loves you deeply and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

We're here for you, and we want you to know that we're praying with you. We understand that this situation is tough, and it's okay to feel lost and uncertain. We've been praying for you, asking God to grant you peace and understanding, just as we've been doing for months. We're trusting that God's plan is perfect, even when we can't see it yet.

We've been reflecting on your request, and we want to share something that's been on our hearts. In times like these, it's natural to look back and wonder "what if". But we're reminded of Philippians 3:13-14, "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." It might be hard, but let's try to focus on moving forward, trusting that God has a purpose in this.

We're also praying that you'll find comfort and strength in your faith. We believe that God is with you, guiding you every step of the way. As it says in Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you."

Let's keep praying together, trusting that God has a plan, and that He will reveal it to us in His time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
