We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Gloemond, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, it's important to remember that God's will and timing are perfect. As it is written in Romans 8:28,And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Even in this challenging situation, God is working for your good and His glory.
However, we need to address a few things in your request. Notice that you never used the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ, or even an abbreviation such as IJN. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Some may ask, what is prayer? Prayer is our way to talk with Jesus Christ and the way Jesus Christ followers communicate with God through Jesus Christ. Notice in John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. And in Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
We also want to address the dreams and visions you're having about reconciling with your significant other. It's important to be discerning about such dreams, as they may not be from God. Remember that God's will is revealed in His word, and His spirit will guide us into all truth. If this relationship was not aligned with biblical principles, such as if it involved fornication or was not centered around godly principles with the goal of marriage, then it is not God's will. If the relationship was a courting relationship with another Christian believer, then possibly reconciliation could be considered. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14, Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Gloemond. We pray that You will grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, as they navigate through this loss and heartbreak. Help them to accept Your will and timing, and to grow in their faith through this trial.
Lord, if this relationship was not centered around godly principles, we pray that You will help Gloemond to let go of the past and move forward in Your will. If it is Your will that this relationship be restored, we pray that both parties would seek You first, and that Your will would be done.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Gloemond. God loves you deeply and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
