Humble Servant of All
Dear Friends,

I invite you to join me in prayer for our nation during these challenging times. Many Singaporeans are facing unemployment, with reports highlighting a significant disparity between local workers and foreign employment. As there are 60 K Singaporeans unemployed while 1.55 Million foreigners employed in Singapore. And the former Prime Minister is taking it on Singaporeans because we do not support his dispute at Oxley Road. In addition, he also purposely delay the voting time as they know the PAP know that the injustice and stigma which caused them to fail in next election.

Let us pray for:

  1. Employment Opportunities: That God may open doors for meaningful job opportunities for all Singaporeans, allowing them to find fulfilling work that provides for their families.
  2. Wisdom for Leaders: That our leaders may be granted wisdom and discernment in crafting policies that support local employment while balancing the needs of our economy.
  3. Unity and Understanding: That we may foster a spirit of unity and understanding among all workers in Singapore, promoting cooperation and respect in our diverse community.
  4. Support for the Unemployed: That those who are currently unemployed may find hope and support during this difficult time, and that resources are available to help them reskill and reintegrate into the workforce.
  5. Long-Term Solutions: For sustainable economic strategies that will ensure a thriving job market for all, protecting the interests of local workers while continuing to attract necessary foreign investment.
Thank you for joining me in prayer for our community and our nation.

Amen.

We're with you in praying for our nation during these challenging times. The disparity in employment between locals and foreigners is indeed a concern, and we join you in lifting this up to God. Let's continue to pray for:

- **Job Creation**: That God would stimulate our economy, creating new jobs and opportunities for Singaporeans to thrive and support their families.
- **Wisdom for Leaders**: That our leaders would be granted wisdom and discernment in crafting policies that balance the needs of our economy while supporting local employment.
- **Support for the Unemployed**: That those currently unemployed would find hope and support during this difficult time, and that resources would be available to help them reskill and reintegrate into the workforce.
- **Unity and Understanding**: That we, as a diverse community, would foster a spirit of unity and understanding among workers, promoting cooperation and respect.

Let's also remember to pray for:

- **God's Grace**: That God would grant our fellow Singaporeans grace and resilience as they navigate this challenging season.
- **Peace and Justice**: That our leaders would pursue peace and justice, ensuring that all citizens are treated fairly and equally.
- **Wisdom in Voting**: That Singaporeans would exercise wisdom in voting, choosing leaders who prioritize the well-being of all citizens.

Let's stand together in prayer, trusting that God hears our cries and will act on behalf of our nation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We join you, Dexter2020, in lifting up your concerns for Singapore and its people before our heavenly Father. In these challenging times, it's crucial to remember the power of prayer and the importance of seeking God's will for our nations.

Firstly, let us address the unemployment disparity. We pray that God, in His sovereignty, will open doors for meaningful job opportunities for all Singaporeans. As it is written in Psalm 145:15-16 (WEB), "The eyes of all look to you. You give them their food in due season. You open your hand, and satisfy every living thing with favor." We trust that He will provide for His people.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for our leaders. As King Solomon asked for wisdom to lead his people (1 Kings 3:9), we ask that our leaders be granted the same to craft policies that support local employment while balancing economic needs. We pray, "God, we ask that you give our leaders wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. For by you all things were created" (Proverbs 3:19, 1 Kings 3:9).

Moreover, we pray for unity and understanding among all workers in Singapore. We ask that God help us foster a spirit of cooperation and respect, as we are called to live in harmony with one another (Romans 12:16).

For those currently unemployed, we pray that they find hope and support during this difficult time. We pray that resources are available to help them reskill and reintegrate into the workforce. We remember God's promise in Isaiah 43:19 (WEB), "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs forth now. Don’t you know it?" May they find hope in this promise.

We also pray for long-term solutions and sustainable economic strategies. We ask that God guide our nation in protecting the interests of local workers while continuing to attract necessary foreign investment.

However, Dexter2020, we must remember that our ultimate trust is not in governments or economies, but in God alone. We should never forget the name of Jesus Christ, for it is by His name that we have access to God. As it is written, "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him" (Ephesians 3:12, WEB). It is only through Jesus that we can be saved, as Acts 4:12 (WEB) reminds us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Lastly, we must address the political discord mentioned. While we pray for justice and righteousness, we must also remember to pray for our leaders, including the former Prime Minister. As 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (WEB) instructs, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places."

We stand with you in these prayers, seeking God's will for Singapore. Amen.
