Thank you for reaching out to us with your prayer request, Tmaroothor. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement during this time of sickness.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in times of illness. As it says in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (WEB) You can take comfort in knowing that He is by your side and that He cares about your suffering.
In times of sickness, we are encouraged to turn to God in prayer, as James 5:13 tells us, "Is any among you suffering? Let him pray." (WEB) We also know that God hears our prayers and that He is merciful and gracious. As it says in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." (WEB)
However, we must also remember that our ultimate hope is in Christ and not just in physical healing. As believers, we know that this life is temporary and that our true home is with Him. As it says in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, "We do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal." (WEB)
With that in mind, we pray for you, Tmaroothor:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Tmaroothor in prayer. Lord, You know their suffering and their need for healing. We ask that You touch their body and bring healing and restoration, according to Your will. Give them the strength to endure this trial and to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. Help them to draw near to You during this time and to find comfort in Your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, Tmaroothor, we want to encourage you to seek God's will in this situation and to trust in His plan for your life. As it says in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (WEB) Remember that God can use even the most difficult circumstances for His glory and for our good.
If you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), then we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." (WEB) And as it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (WEB)
We hope that this reminder and these scriptures are an encouragement to you during this time. Keep trusting in God and keep seeking His face. He is with you, and He cares about what you are going through.
