Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Roy to you. We are deeply saddened by the news of his advanced esophageal cancer that has spread to his liver. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention and healing touch upon Roy's body. We pray that you would guide the medical professionals treating him and grant them wisdom in their decisions.
Father, we know that Roy is currently agnostic, but we believe in the power of your love and grace to touch his heart. We ask that you would soften his heart and open his eyes to your presence and the strength that only you can provide. May he find comfort and peace in knowing you, and may he experience your healing power in his life.
Lord, we also lift up Roy's physical discomfort and distress. We ask that you would alleviate his pain and grant him relief from the difficulties he is facing in eating and swallowing. We know that you are the Great Physician, and we trust in your ability to bring healing and comfort to Roy's body.
In your Word, you have promised that when two or three gather in your name, you are in their midst . So, we stand together in faith, united in prayer for Roy's healing and spiritual journey. We believe that nothing is impossible for you, and we trust in your perfect will for Roy's life.
We thank you, Father, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. May your love surround Roy and his family during this challenging time. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
