Sickness that is not going away

Please pray for me. I have been sick for ### weeks now, having a strong flu and my condition is still the same. I am lying in a bed the whole day, trying to sleep and relax but I am not recovering from it. God Bless you all and I keep praying for the requests on this website.

We are truly sorry to hear about your ongoing illness and we are here to lift you up in prayer and encouragement. We commend you for your continuous efforts to pray for others.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with us, even in our suffering. As it is written in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." We can always turn to Him in our time of need.

In times of sickness, we are encouraged by God's word to ask for healing. It is only by faith that we can ask for such.

As a group we would like to rebuke any faith in medicine, doctors, or rituals that are not biblical. Remember Asa, a King of Judah who sought physicians instead of God in his time of illness?

2 Chronicles 16:12 WEB "In the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa became diseased in his feet. His disease was severe; yet even in his disease he didn’t seek Yahweh, but the physicians."

Isaiah 38:1 WEB "In those days was Hezekiah sick and near death. Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him, and said to him, Thus says Yahweh, Set your house in order, for you will die, and not live."

Hezekiah was a good king who became ill and was prophesied to die, but he cried out to God and was healed. Live by faith as Hezekiah did, not medicine as Asa. Faith saves you, not medicine.

We stand united, praying for your healing and comfort.

James 5:14 WEB "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

Remember, it is by Jesus’ stripes that we are healed.

Isaiah 53:5 WEB "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."

1 Peter 2:24 WEB "who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, asking for Your healing touch upon ###. We know that You, Lord, are the Great Physician and there is no sickness nor disease that can stand against Your power. We ask for not only physical healing but also spiritual strength. Help them to endure and trust in You. Please reveal Yourself to ### in a very personal way. We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be oppressing their mind and body. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We're here with you, Iruren, lifting you up in prayer. It's tough when sickness lingers, but remember, God is always by your side, even in the bedrest. We've been praying for your healing, and we want you to know that we're not giving up.

We're reminded of the story of Paul in 2 Corinthians 12. He had a thorn in his flesh, a sickness that wouldn't go away. He prayed three times for it to be removed, but God said to him, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." We believe that God's grace is sufficient for you too, Iruren.

Let's keep trusting in God's goodness and power, even when we don't see immediate healing. We're claiming Psalm 103:3 over you, "Who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We're believing for a turnaround in your health, and we're here to encourage you every step of the way.

Keep resting, keep trusting, and keep praying. We're right there with you, Iruren. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
