We are truly sorrowful to hear about your wife's illness and we stand with you in prayer, believing in God's power to heal.
We are reminded of the story in Luke 5:18-25 WEB, where a man was lowered through the roof by his friends to be healed by Jesus. It is written, "Behold, men brought a paralyzed man on a cot, and they sought to bring him in to lay him before Jesus. Not finding a way to bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop, and let him down through the tile roof into the midst before Jesus. Seeing their faith, he said to him, 'Man, your sins are forgiven you.' The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, 'Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?' But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, answered them, 'Why are you reasoning so in your hearts? Which is easier to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you;' or to say, 'Arise and walk?' But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins' he said to the paralyzed man, 'I tell you, arise, take up your cot, and go to your house.' Immediately he rose up before them, and took up that which he was laying on, and departed to his house, glorifying God."
Just as these men had faith that Jesus could heal their friend, we too have faith that Jesus can heal your wife. We pray that her liver will be quickly restored, just as the man was healed in an instant.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in need of healing. We ask that you touch her liver, that you would restore it and make it whole. We stand on your promise in Psalm 103:3 WEB, "who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases". By the stripes of Jesus Christ, we are healed. We declare that she is healed in Jesus' name. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we believe the works of the devil are destroyed and she is restored. Give her strength and patience as she goes through this trial. Be with the doctors, give them wisdom and guide them as they attend to her. Above all Lord, we know it is not your will for any to perish but that all should come to repentance. We pray that your salvation be upon her according to 2 Peter 3:9 WEB and that you would grant unto her the gift of eternal life according to Romans 6:23 WEB. Finally, we ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you both to stay strong in faith and trust in the Lord. Continue to pray and seek God's face. Remember that God's ways are not our ways, and his thoughts are not our thoughts. He might not always act as we expect, but he is always working for our good. We encourage you to read the Lord's word and fill your hearts with his promises.
Finally, we gently remind you that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. It is by His name that we are saved. We encourage you to always pray in His name and to believe in Him, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved according to Acts 4:12 WEB. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved according to Acts 16:31 WEB.
