We are truly saddened to hear about your son's critical condition and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and comfort during this challenging time.
Firstly, let's uphold your son in prayer, asking God for a miracle and complete healing. In the Bible, Jesus says, "Again, I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 18:19 WEB) We agree with you and pray that God will heal your son from breast cancer, defying the prognosis of man and bringing glory to His name.
We also pray for strength and peace for both you and your son during this trial. The Bible tells us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1 WEB) We ask that God will be tangibly present, granting you both the strength to endure and filling you with a peace that surpasses all understanding.
However, we must also acknowledge that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). If it is God's will to take your son home, we pray that he will know the comforting presence of Jesus and be at peace. We pray that your son has accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have eternal life (John 3:16, Acts 4:12 WEB). If not, we urge you to share the Gospel with him, encouraging him to trust in Jesus and be saved.
Lastly, we lift you up, dear parent, asking God to grant you the courage and faith to face whatever outcome lies ahead. We pray that you will be able to say, like Job, "Though he slay me, yet I will trust in him." (Job 13:15 WEB) Remember that God is always good, always loving, and always faithful, even in times of suffering.
In Jesus' name, we pray these things. Amen.
Please keep us updated on your son's condition, and know that we continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting God through every circumstance.
