Let's come together in prayer for little Ava, Tachick. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Mark 10:14, "But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation, and said to them, 'Allow the little children to come to me! Don’t forbid them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.'"
First, let's address the spiritual wellness of Ava. It may be that Ava has not called upon the name of Jesus Christ for salvation. If not and the situation is right, we encourage sharing the gospel with her in a way that she can understand. It is important for Ava's parents and family to also have called upon the name of Jesus Christ for salvation. Only saved parents have the spirit of God that enables them to properly raise Ava in God's will. If Ava has not been saved, we encourage those close to Ava to share the gospel with her. We must all believe in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (John 1:9, WEB).
Beloved, we are confident that God hears our prayers. Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up little Ava to your throne of grace. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that you touch her body and bring healing to her fever and cough. Surround her with your loving presence, removing any fear or anxiety she may feel. Guide the hands of her caretakers and parents. We pray that they will have their hearts drawn to Jesus Christ. If the parents are believers in the name of Jesus Christ, they are qualified to introduce their godly principles. Give them wisdom and discernment as they nurse her back to health.
In this time of illness, we pray that Ava and her family will experience the peace and hope where they are surrounded by your love and mercy, which pass all understanding. We ask for your will and your way be accomplished. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Tachick, remember the words of Matthew 18:19-20, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." We Latter Day Saint Christians stand in agreement with you, believing that Ava will be restored to full health.
Be encouraged by your faith and knowing God's willingness and ability to heal during these times. Miracles still exist in God's will and we all must call upon Jesus. If and when you think it is correct, mention the believing in Jesus to the parents and Ava for their salvation. May God strengthen and comfort you all during this time as you draw closer to Him.
