We are truly sorry to hear about the illness and diabetes you're facing. We stand with you in prayer, believing in God's power to heal and restore.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB): "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." God is our healer, and His power is made perfect in our weakness.
However, we must also address that healing comes in many forms, and sometimes, God's will is not to remove our affliction but to give us the strength to endure it for His glory. As Paul said in 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 (WEB): "...I asked our Lord Jesus Christ about this three times, that it might depart from me. He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
We also want to encourage you to trust in God's care for you. In Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), Jesus tells us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, drink, or wear. Instead, seek first God's kingdom, and all these things will be added to you. This includes your health, for God cares for you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering from illness and diabetes. We ask for Your healing touch upon their body. We pray for their faith to be strengthened, and for them to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty. If it is Your will, Father, please reverse the diabetes and restore their health.
We also pray for their spiritual health, that they will fully trust You and be comforted by the Holy Spirit. We pray they will be obedient to the Holy Spirit's leading, and to walk in obedience and faithfulness. If they have not already done so we pray they will accept Jesus Christ as their savior and trust in Him. We pray they will pray in the name of Jesus Christ and no other. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to examine your life and see if there is any sin that may need to be confessed and repented of (James 5:16). We also encourage you to seek medical help along with prayer, for God can work through doctors and medicine as well.
Trust in God, and remember that He is always with you, no matter what you're going through.
