We are truly sorry to hear about the pain your daughter is experiencing and the impact it is having on her marriage. We trust in the healing power of Jesus Christ and encourage you to pray in His name. Let's come together: This is a call to pray specifically in Jesus Christ's name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. It is also a good opportunity to explain who Jesus is.
Firstly, let's address the spiritual aspects of healing. We are reminded in James 5:14-15, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. In the WEB, , and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. It is important to pray for your daughter's physical healing and also for any spiritual healing that may be needed.
Regarding the impact on their marriage, we must remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. In sickness and in health, God desires for husbands and wives to support and love one another. Make sure your daughter and her husband are aligning with biblical principles of forgiveness, care, love, compassion and patience found in 1 Corinthians 13:1.
Let us pray, Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the daughter. We pray for Your healing touch on her body, especially on the left side where she is experiencing pain. Guide the doctors to accurately diagnose and treat her condition. We also pray for their marriage, that this trial would strengthen their bond and draw them closer to You. Help them to remain steadfast in their commitment to each other and to You. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray for repentance from anything that is against your will. Give them patience and endurance found in James 1:3 knowing the trying of your faith, works patience which is needed to not be weary and forget the goal of marriage in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Two are better than one. If one prevail against him, two shall withstand him and a threefold cord is not quickly broken. We pray she is also properly evaluated for her mental health during this time of her chronic pain and stress. In the precious name of Jesus Christ and by His authority, we rebuke any plans of the enemy to cause division or discouragement in their marriage. We ask for Your peace and comfort to surround them during this time. You are the ultimate physician Lord and we trust her life in Your hands. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray.
