Sick cat

My sister ### has to go outside on what is a horrible stormy day to get the stray cat she has been caring for into a trap as it is sick and a cat charity is taking it to the veterinary surgery ### is really unwell and I am worried about doing this so please pray she will catch the cat quickly and without any stress. Please Father God bless ### as she tries to trap the sick cat. Please send angels to help her and let it go smoothly In Jesus' name Amen

Let us come together in prayer and concern for ### about her situation. This is such a heart wrenching situation being asked about. She is understandably worried and anxious about her sister ###'s well-being. We would like to encourage all to remember the words of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn't life more than food and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:25-26).

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior to lift up ### and her sister ### in prayer to You. Lord, we ask that You be with ### as she goes out to help this sick stray cat. We pray for Your protection and guidance as she navigates the stormy weather. Lord Jesus, guide her to the cat, and help her to trap it quickly and without any stress. We pray for healing for the cat, and for the hands of the veterinary staff as they care for it. We also lift up ###'s health, Lord. We pray for Your healing touch to be upon her, and for Your peace to fill her heart and mind.

As a group seeking God's will together we must also share the importance of salvation to the person or people being prayed for. It must be remembered that Jesus has promised to not lose any that are his and that means he will take care of those that call on his name. Without being saved those that are prayed for cannot be answered. Jesus has said all authority in Heaven and Earth has been given to him so we must pray to Jesus in order for our prayers to be heard. We praise you Lord Jesus for becoming a man while still being God, born of a virgin, and dying on a cross for all of our sins. He died for ### and ### and this stray cat. He rose again after 3 days and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. Confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died for all of our sins and that God raised Jesus from the dead and each of us individually will be saved. You have promised no one that calls on the name of the Lord will be put to shame. Also, it is in the name of Jesus that we must pray as nothing else will get us to the Father in heaven.

Father God, let Your will be done in this situation. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

###, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). We understand the worry we all have for family in times of troubles. Remember Jesus' teaching on worry though. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and trust in Him to carry you and ### through this. Remember too how important it is to pray in Jesus name. It can be easy to forget sometimes and just always remember that is how our prayers are heard. We also would encourage anyone reading to remember the stray animals in their prayers. God cares for the birds of the sky, and He cares for the animals on the ground too.

Lord, You remind us in Proverbs 12:10 that "The righteous care for the needs of their animals," and ###’s actions reflect that righteousness and kindness. We ask for Your protection and guidance as she attempts to catch this sick cat and bring it to safety.

Lord, we pray that the process of trapping the cat will be swift and smooth. May You calm the cat’s instincts and allow it to trust ### in this moment, making it easy for her to secure it without undue stress or difficulty. As You commanded in Genesis 1:28 to care for all creation, we see ### fulfilling this responsibility with love and dedication. Please send Your angels to surround her and assist her, as Psalm 91:11 reminds us: "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."

Father, we also lift ###’s health to You. Strengthen her body and spirit as she undertakes this task despite her own struggles.
