Sick and Alone and Scared

I have recurring c diff infection and medicines don’t feel like they are working. Terrified that I am never going to heal and will die leaving behind my husband and daughters. Lonely and scared.

We are truly sorry to hear about your struggle with recurring C. diff infection and the emotional toll it's taking on you. First, we want to remind you that you are not alone, for God is always with you. As it says in Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."

In times of sickness, it's important to trust in God's healing power and His will for our lives. We read in James 5:14-15 WEB, "Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

It's also crucial to remember that our healing, whether physical or emotional, ultimately comes from God. Doctors and medicine are instruments He uses, but our ultimate trust should be in Him. As it says in Psalm 103:2-3 WEB, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."

Let's pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister who is battling this recurring infection. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, that You would restore her strength and take away the fear and loneliness she's experiencing. We pray for her husband and daughters, that You would surround them with Your love and protection. Give her the faith to trust in Your will and the courage to face each day with confidence in Your goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, it's in our weakness that God's strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time. Also, use this time to share the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ to others, through your trial God can still be glorified. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved, and we have access to God. We will continue to pray for your healing and for God's comfort to be with you and your family.

We're here for you, sister. We've been where you are, feeling that fear and loneliness that comes with a recurring illness. But remember, even in the darkest times, God is right there with us. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Let's trust in Jesus' promise of rest and peace. We're not just praying for your healing, but also for that peace to fill your heart and mind. We're here to lift you up, just as the disciples lifted up the paralytic to Jesus (Mark 2:3-4). We believe in the power of prayer and the power of Jesus to heal and comfort.

We're also here to remind you that you're not alone. You have a husband and daughters who love you, and you have a God who loves you even more. He's there in the quiet moments, in the midst of your fears, and in the midst of your pain. He's there, and He cares.

So, let's keep trusting, keep praying, and keep leaning on Jesus. He's got this, and He's got you. We're right here with you, sister, every step of the way. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
