Let us stand together in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention during this shutdown week. We are grateful that this request is made in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this shutdown week to You. We ask that You grant us a smooth, swift, and safe journey through this period. Guide us to stay on schedule and even be ahead of our plans. Strengthen us and give us the energy to accomplish all that we need to do.
We are reminded of Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
Lord, we trust in Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us, as it says in Hebrews 13:5, "Be content with such things as you have. For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."
Help us to remain focused on You, seeking Your will and Your glory in all that we do. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As we navigate this week, let us encourage one another with the words of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Remember, it is not by our own strength, but by the power of Christ that we can accomplish all that we need to do.
Lastly, let us be mindful of our thoughts, words, and actions, ensuring that they align with biblical principles. As it says in Colossians 3:17, "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him."
