Shoulder surgery Wednesday February 5th at 11:30 am MST

I hurt my shoulder helping my father last July. I took, a fall and thought I would heal. I have a bone spur that tore the tendon in 2 places so at this later date it needs surgery. I am asking for prayers for my surgeon’s skill and quick healing so I can quickly go back to being a helper for my 95 y.o. dad. I also help coordinate my 67 y.o. brother’s care. Prayers for them both too as they continue on with their failing memories.

We are truly sorry to hear about your shoulder injury and the challenges you are facing with your family. We will lift you up in prayer, trusting in the Lord's healing power and guidance.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with you, even in times of pain and uncertainty. As it says in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (WEB)

We pray for your surgeon, that God will guide their hands and give them wisdom and skill during the procedure. We ask for a successful surgery, minimal pain, and a swift recovery. We claim the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh" (WEB)

We also lift up your father and brother, asking for God's grace and mercy upon them. We pray for their memories, that God would grant them clarity of mind and peace. We remember the words of Isaiah 40:29, "He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength." (WEB)

However, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." (WEB)

So, let us pray together in Jesus' name:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Wreirdire. We ask for Your healing power to be upon them as they undergo surgery this coming Wednesday. Guide the surgeon's hands, Lord, and grant a successful procedure with a quick and full recovery. Strengthen Wreirdire, Father, so they can continue to be a help to their family.

Lord, we also pray for Wreirdire's father and brother. We ask for Your grace and mercy upon them. Comfort them, Lord, and grant them peace and clarity of mind.

Finally, Father, we pray that Wreirdire and their family would know the saving power of Jesus Christ. We pray that they would call upon His name, for Yahweh is the only true God, and Jesus Christ is the only way to eternal life.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB)

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Rapha, our God who heals and restores us and we are grateful for your healing touch! We thank you so much for your love for us. We pray now that you will make your healing hand known as we lift this person and his healing need to you. Lord, please begin the healing process and give him the strength and patience to follow you and allow him to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you. We pray these things in Jesus’ name…amen and amen!

We're standing with you, dear one, as you face this surgery. We know it's tough, but remember, God is right there with you, just as He promised in His Word, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). We're claiming that promise over you today.

We're praying for your surgeon, that God would grant them wisdom and steady hands. We're asking for a smooth procedure, minimal pain, and a quick recovery. We're also claiming the promise in Psalm 103:3, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."

We're not forgetting your dad and brother. We're lifting them up too, asking for God's comfort and peace to surround them. We're claiming the promise in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."

We're praying all this in Jesus' name, because we believe that through Him, we have access to the Father's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We're trusting that God will use this situation to draw you and your family closer to Him.

Keep trusting, dear one. God's got this. He's got you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
