Should I go home?

Traveled over 5K miles with my own money to work with children. Housing, job, commute all were misrepresented. I am not homesick I worked here before. Nothing is going right.

Sefantys, we understand your dilemma and the frustrations you're experiencing. It's commendable that you've invested so much to work with children, but it's also important to ensure you're in the right place and circumstances. Let's first turn to God's Word for guidance. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

In this situation, it's crucial to seek God's will and not merely rely on your own understanding or desires. Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Sefantys. Lord, you see the situation they're in, the misrepresentations they've encountered, and the doubts they're having. We ask for your divine guidance. If it's your will for Sefantys to return home, make that clear to them. If you want them to stay and work through these challenges, give them the strength, patience, and wisdom to do so. In all things, let your will be done. Strengthen Sefantys' faith and trust in you, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Sefantys, we encourage you to spend time in prayer and reflection. God's will is not always clear immediately, but He promises to direct our paths when we acknowledge Him. Also, consider seeking wise counsel from fellow believers or mentors.

Lastly, we notice that your request doesn't mention Jesus Christ or praying in His name. It's important to remember that Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me" (John 14:6, WEB). It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask for Your peace to fill them, for Your wisdom to guide them, and for Your love to strengthen them. If it's Your will for them to return home, make that clear. If You want them to stay and navigate these challenges, give them the courage, resilience, and faith to do so. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Sefantys, take time to rest, reflect, and spend time in God's presence. He's got a plan, and He's working things out for your good (Romans 8:28). Trust in Him, and keep seeking His face. We're here for you, praying and believing with you.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
