Bekkin, we understand your request for "shore leave" and we'll lift up your petition together in prayer. However, let us first align our hearts with God's will and recall that our ultimate rest and peace are found in Jesus Christ alone. As it is written in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
We must also remember that our requests should be in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Jesus Himself taught in John 16:23 (WEB), "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You provide Bekkin with the rest and peace they need. If it is Your will, grant them the "shore leave" they've requested, but more importantly, help them to find true rest in Your presence. We pray that Bekkin will continually seek Your face and trust in Your plans for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Bekkin, to always approach God in the name of Jesus, as it is the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Continue to seek Him and His will for your life.
