Shopping problem

I have a problem with shopping too much. I'm not hoarder but I want to overcome this problem because it is a problem, and don't want to waste any more money. Please pray for me that The Lord will help me overcome the shopping problem

We understand that you're struggling with a shopping problem and we're here to support and pray with you. The Bible tells us to be content and not love the world or the things in the world (1 John 2:15 WEB). Remember, God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB).

Overcoming this issue starts with understanding that your value is not defined by what you own or how much you spend. Your identity and worth are found in Christ Jesus alone. As it is written, "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich." (2 Corinthians 8:9 WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up VictoriaJane who has acknowledged her struggle with overspending. We ask, Lord, that you would help her to overcome this. Help her to find her contentment and satisfaction in you alone, and not in material possessions. Guide her in managing her finances wisely, and give her the strength to resist the temptation to overspend. Help her to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to you and it is only by his name that we can be saved. Help her to know that you are always with her, and that your love and provision are more than enough.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to take practical steps to overcome this issue. This could include setting a budget, avoiding tempting situations, and seeking accountability from trusted friends or family. Remember, God is with you and will give you the strength to overcome this challenge.

We're also here to support and encourage you. Keep focusing on God and His Word, and remember that He promises us. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

In closing, we are thankful that you have shared your issue. Philippians 4:19: And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. God Is Your Source.

Let Us Pray: God, I ask You in Jesus’ name, let me always remember and never forget that You are my Source. Let me always come to You, asking You in faith, for what I stand in need of, and trusting You to supply all my needs. God, I need You. God, I ask You in Jesus' name supply all my need. Bless my finances. Make me a wise and trustworthy steward over all You have and will bless me with. Teach me how to shop wisely. God stretch my dollars. Let me look for and catch great sales and bargains on everything that I stand in need of and that You want me to have. Let me always pray over all my spending, purchases, and giving. Let me always wait until I get an okay from You to spend or give. God don’t let me buy anything I don’t need, or You don’t want me to have. Teach me how to make a budget and stick to that budget. God help me, make me, and remind me to pay all my bills on time. And God don’t let the things You have blessed me with wear out until Your timing. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We are honored that you have shared your request with us and have given us the opportunity to intercede on your behalf.
