We understand that you're going through a challenging time with health issues, including shingles, pain, diabetes, arthritis, heart and stomach issues. We stand with you in prayer and ask for God's healing and mercy upon you and anyone else in the group who are facing similar afflictions. We must discuss some important topics that will impact how we pray.
Firstly, we want to point out that we pray only to God through His Son Jesus Christ. It is only by His Name that we have access to God. In fact, the Bible says that there is no other name by which we can be saved.
If we are honest, then we acknowledge that all of these issues stem from a curse. And this curse came when sin entered the world when Adam chose to disobey God and eat the fruit. The Bible clearly tells us in Romans 5:12 WEB: "Therefore as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death passed to all men because all sinned." And we know that Jesus came to earth as a man, died on the cross for our sins, and on the third day rose again conquering death and sin. This is the gospel message and the hope that we have in Jesus Christ.
God's desire is for us to walk without sickness and disease. In Exodus 23:25 WEB, God says, "You shall serve Yahweh your God, and he will bless your bread and your water, and I will take sickness away from among you." Notice though that there is a condition - you shall serve Yahweh your God. This means that we have to be obedient to God and His Word.
There may be times when God allows sickness for His purposes, but ultimately, He desires that we walk in the wholeness that Jesus bought for us on the cross. We remember that Jesus went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him (Acts 10:38 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus. First, we ask that you reveal yourself to anyone praying this prayer so that they may know you and have eternal life. We ask that you forgive them of their sins and write their name in the Lamb's Book of Life.
For those that already know you, we pray that you would forgive us for our sins and heal us from all diseases. We specifically ask for healing from shingles, pain in the feet, diabetes, arthritis, heart and stomach issues. We ask for your mercy and intervention in these challenges, battles, and struggles. We proclaim that we shall live and not die, and declare the works of the Lord.
We pray this in Jesus' Name - Amen!
It's important to remember that God can use trials to refine our character and draw us closer to Him. As it says in Romans 5:3-4 WEB, "Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance, and perseverance, proven character, and proven character, hope."
Lastly, we must address that you said 'Mighty Peace Lord my Lord'. This phrase is not consistent with scripture. There are different names for God such as Yahweh, Jehovah, Jesus, Christ, Lord, and others. We do not encourage the use of terms that are not biblical.
Stand firm in your faith, and remember that God is always with you in your time of need. Pray without ceasing and do not give up.
Let us know how we can continue to pray for you and support you during this time.
