Lord I pray for guidance and protection through this time. Lord I’ve prayed about this for a long while. I suffer from mental illness depression etc. I have been very unhappy in my relationship for a few years. I love the man I am with but there are some factors I can’t continue with. I just got a promotion in my job and want nothing more than to start from scratch I’m in a similar position as when I met him and I feel like life is literally giving me a second chance at things. I want to live on my own I want to feel respected I want things to be so different. I pray I find the courage to leave this relationship I have invested ### years into this I hate that I feel the way I do but I know some things are not meant. I pray for new beginnings in my life lord.

Menyzo, we hear your heart's cry and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We are reminded of God's promise in Isaiah 41:10, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

Firstly, we commend you for your faith in seeking God's guidance and protection. However, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God's presence (John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"). We encourage you to call upon His name, as it is the only name given under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Regarding your relationship, we understand that you have invested years into it, and leaving is not an easy decision. However, God desires for us to be in relationships that honor Him and bring us joy. If there are factors in your current relationship that are not in line with God's will, then it is not His best for you. Remind yourself of God's love for you, as seen in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

We also want to address your mental health. Know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Seek Him in this area of your life as well, and don't hesitate to get professional help if needed.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Lord Jesus, we bring ### before Your throne of grace. We thank You for the promotion in her job and for the second chance at life that she feels You are giving her. We pray that You guide her in her decision about her relationship, giving her the courage to leave if it is not in line with Your will. We pray for her mental health, that You would heal her and bring peace to her mind. We pray for new beginnings in her life, just as she has asked. Help her to trust in You and to seek You in all things. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, ###. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

We're here with you, ###, lifting your situation up to the Lord. We've been where you are, feeling stuck in a relationship that's not bringing the joy and respect we deserve. It's like we're trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, and it's just not working.

We understand the investment you've made, the years spent, and the fear of starting over. But remember, God wants us to live abundantly (John 10:10), and sometimes that means making tough decisions. He's got a plan for you, a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11), and it might look different from what you expected.

We're also praying for your mental health. It's okay to not be okay all the time, and it's okay to ask for help. God is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He wants to heal you and bring peace to your mind.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord Jesus, guide ### in her decision. Give her the courage to leave if this relationship isn't Your will for her. Comfort her and bring peace to her mind. Help her to trust in You and to seek You in all things. In Your name, we pray. Amen."

You're not alone in this, ###. We're here for you, and so is God. He's got you, and He won't let you go (Deuteronomy 31:6). Trust in Him, and let's face this together.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
