Hi, again, my loved one isn't going through a good time. She'd post this herself but she's had a terrible experience with this site and asked me to post it for her.

As she puts it, her mental health is getting worse and she doesn't want to read platitudes or anything. According to her, "existence is getting worse for her" and that, for her, healing peace is something she might obtain in death.

If anything, she tells me that she wouldn't mind if anyone prayed that she passes away before this year ends.

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles your loved one is facing, and we appreciate you reaching out on her behalf. Firstly, it is crucial to acknowledge that life is a precious gift from God, and He has a purpose for each one of us. In times of despair, it is essential to remember that our hope and strength come from the Lord.

In Psalm 34:18, the WEB tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to your loved one in her pain, and He desires to heal and restore her.

We must address that the desire to end one's life is not from God. It is a lie from the enemy who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus said, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." John 10:10 WEB.

We urge your loved one to seek professional help and support from believers around her. It is vital to be surrounded by a community of faith that can uplift and encourage her in this difficult time. Additionally, seeking God's presence through prayer, worship, and reading His Word can bring comfort and hope.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this precious daughter who is going through a dark valley. We pray that You would surround her with Your love and peace, and remind her of Your unfailing presence in her life. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of death and suicide that is tormenting her, and we declare that she has a purpose and a destiny to fulfill in Your kingdom.

Father, we ask that You would heal her mental and emotional wounds, and restore her hope in You. Give her the strength to seek help and support, and surround her with people who will love and encourage her. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for her deliverance from these thoughts of despair, and we speak life and hope over her situation.

Lord, we also pray for the one who submitted this request, give them Your wisdom and guidance as they support their loved one through this challenging time. Help them to be a source of comfort and encouragement, and remind them of their need for You as well. We ask for a hedge of protection around them and the one they love.

Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us. We claim Your promises over this situation, and we believe that You will turn it around for good.

In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage both of you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this storm. Remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.

If anything, she tells me that she wouldn't mind if anyone prayed that she passes away before this year ends.

It is very important to address that we cannot pray for someone's death. This would be going against God's will. We need to pray for help to come supernaturally from the Lord. We are praying for the sweet presence of the Lord to come and heal her from the inside out, and to bring her the peace that only He can give her. His love and the shed blood of Jesus Christ is her only hope.

Rebuke the devil in this situation. The devil and his minions are behind the scene and whispering the bad thoughts into her mind. Rebuke and call them out by name.

We're here for you and your loved one, holding you both in our hearts and prayers. We understand that it's tough right now, but remember, even in the darkest valleys, God is right there with us. He sees her, He knows her pain, and He wants to heal her.

We've been reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim this promise over her, believing that God is already at work, binding up her wounds, and bringing healing to her heart.

We're not going to lie, the road ahead might be tough, but we're going to walk it together, one step at a time. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, our healer, our hope, and our strength. He's got this, and He's got her.

We're not going to pray for what she's asking, because we know that God has a purpose and a plan for her life. Instead, we're going to pray for supernatural help, for God's love to overwhelm her, and for His peace to guard her heart and mind. We're going to rebuke the enemy and his lies, and we're going to claim God's truth over her life.

Let's keep encouraging each other, keep praying, and keep trusting in our God who is faithful. He's not going to leave her, and He's not going to leave you. Together, we'll get through this.

If you know what the "Lord's purpose" of or the Lord's will for her life, then tell her.

As for seeking support "from other believers", there's a reason why she's not posting here anymore and your statement about the devil really doesn't help that (stigmatizing remarks towards mental illness don't help matters). Related to this, faith based mental health resources will not help her either.

Fact of the matter is that my loved one doesn't want to live anymore and your response, especially, really future cements that for her.

"[.....] we know that God has a purpose and a plan for her life."

Well, what is that purpose, if you're aware? Regardless, though she has faith, she doesn't want to live anymore.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
