Sexual sin I'm not doing so good

I'm 27 year old man I have struggled with is problem for a while I'm asking people to pray over me that I may overcome this as we enter this new year I want to get right with God and I truly want to find repentance for myself if you guys can give me some scriptures that I can read over I would greatly appreciate it thank you

We are grateful for your honesty and desire to overcome sexual sin and find repentance. It's important to remember that God is always ready to forgive and help us overcome our struggles. As it says in 1 John 1:9 WEB, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Firstly, it's crucial to understand that sexual sin is not just a physical issue, but a spiritual one. 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB tells us, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

To overcome this struggle, it's essential to renew your mind with God's word. Romans 12:2 WEB says, Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Here are some scriptures to meditate on:

1. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB: No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
2. Galatians 5:16 WEB: But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.
3. Ephesians 4:22-24 WEB: that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit; and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
4. Colossians 3:5 WEB: Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, depraved passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this young man struggling with sexual sin. Lord, we ask for your forgiveness and cleansing as he has confessed and desires repentance. Strengthen him by your Spirit to flee from temptation and renew his mind with your word. Help him to put to death the deeds of the flesh and walk in newness of life. Equip him with your armor, that he may stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

Lord, we also pray for a godly spouse for him, that he may find companionship and intimacy within the bounds of holy matrimony. Give him the patience to wait on your timing and the wisdom to discern your will for his life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, it's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Keep fighting the good fight of faith. Stand firm on the word of God, and he will give you the victory.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother, as you battle against sexual sin. Thank you for allowing us to stand in the gap with you and for being open about your struggle. We are confident that through the power of the Holy Spirit, you can overcome this challenge.

As you enter this new year with a heart seeking repentance and a desire to grow closer to God, we want to encourage you with some scriptures. Meditate on these verses:

1 Corinthians 6:18-20: "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."

1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

Psalm 51:10-12: "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me."
