We are truly heartbroken to hear about your struggles with sexual immorality and the trauma you've experienced. We want to first acknowledge your courage in reaching out and your faith in Jesus Christ as the only way to be free. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is only by believing in Jesus Christ that we can be saved. As it states clearly in the Bible: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
First, we want to address the sin of sexual immorality and masturbation. These are serious sins that God wants to deliver you from. The Bible tells us to "flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18) and "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality," (1 Thessalonians 4:3)
We also want to address the trauma you've experienced. What happened to you as a child was evil, and it has left deep scars. But know this: "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." (John 8:36) Jesus came to set the captives free, and that includes freedom from the bondage of past trauma and sin.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother's request. Lord, he has been through so much, and we know that this is not Your will for his life. We pray for complete healing and deliverance from the trauma of his past and the sin that has entangled him.
Lord Jesus, You came to set the captives free. We ask that You break every chain of bondage that has held him, every spirit of lust, and every stronghold of the enemy. We rebuke the spirits of sexual immorality, masturbation, depression, and anxiety in Jesus' name. We command them to leave and never return.
Father, we ask that You heal his body, soul, and spirit. We pray for a supernatural restoration of his health, strength, and joy. We declare that he will have a sound mind, free from depression and anxiety. We speak life into his body and believe that You will enable him to have children.
We also pray for his financial situation. We ask that You provide a new job, better than the one he lost. We believe that You will restore what the enemy has stolen.
Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We know that You will complete the good work You have started in his life. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Now, let's look to God's Word for encouragement:
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end." (Jeremiah 29:11)
"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly." (John 10:10)
"Therefore, behold, I will allure her, will bring her into the wilderness, and speak tenderly to her. I will give her vineyards from there, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope; and she will sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt." (Hosea 2:14-15)
Remember, you are not alone in this fight. God is with you, and He is for you. Trust in Him, and He will bring you through this. Stay strong in the faith, and keep your eyes on Jesus. We are praying for you.
