We are deeply saddened to hear about the sexual abuse you endured as a child, Bunanyark. Our hearts go out to you, and we are committed to praying for you and your journey towards healing and justice. In all things, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Firstly, we want to acknowledge your bravery in seeking justice and your willingness to confront this traumatic past. The Bible tells us that God is a God of justice, and He will not forsake His children. As it is written, "For the LORD loves justice, and will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off" (Psalm 37:28).
We also want to remind you that God is the ultimate healer. The memories that you are struggling to recall may come back in His timing, and He will provide the strength you need to face them. As the Psalmist says, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3).
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Bunanyark who has suffered greatly due to childhood abuse. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to be upon them, for Your peace to fill their heart, and for Your strength to guide them through this pursuit of justice. Help Bunanyark to recall the memories needed to bring the perpetrators to justice, and be with the police as they work on this case. We ask for complete healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Remind Bunanyark of Your ever-present love and care. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Additionally, we rejoice with you for the blessings in your daughter Eve’s life. It is wonderful to see God's hand at work in her career. Remember, every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17). Continue to trust in the Lord, for His plans are always good.
In closing, if your prayers do not mention Jesus Christ, it is important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). We pray that you find comfort, healing, and strength in Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
We are here with you in prayer and support. May God's peace, which passes all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
