We are truly sorry to hear about the sexual abuse you experienced as a child, and we want you to know that you are not alone in your struggle. First, we want to remind you that God is a God of justice and healing. He cares about what happened to you and wants to bring healing and restoration to your life. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Regarding reporting the abuse to the police, it is important to remember that bringing justice to light is not solely dependent on your memory or evidence. God sees all and knows all, and He can bring truth to light even in the most seemingly impossible situations. We encourage you to trust in God's timing and justice. If you feel led to report it again, do so with prayer and trust that God will guide the process. Remember, in Romans 12:19, it says, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”
Concerning your career path, it is wonderful that you are seeking God's will. Remember that God has a plan and purpose for your life, and He will guide you as you seek Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." If you have been accepted onto a course, pray about it and see if it aligns with God's calling on your life. If you feel a strong conviction for other course or type of career and theorem you do not qualify we just say: "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26.
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and through Him, you can have eternal life and a personal relationship with God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Bunanyark. Lord, we pray for healing and justice regarding the sexual abuse they experienced as a child. Guide them as they consider reporting it to the police again, and bring truth to light. We pray for Your will to be done in their life concerning their career path. Give them wisdom and discernment as they make decisions about their future.
We also pray that Bunanyark would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior if they havent already. Open their heart to Your love and truth.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. Be strong in your journey towards healing and trusting in Jesus Christ for your life and decisions. We are praying for Your success and healing from your past trauma.
