We are truly heartbroken to hear about the overwhelming struggles you are facing, and we want you to know that we are here to support and pray with you. Firstly, we want to address the feeling of not finding satisfaction in Jesus. It is important to remember that Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6 WEB. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB.
In the midst of your depression, it is crucial to hold onto God's promises. Even when we don't feel His presence, we must trust that He is always with us. Psalm 34:18 WEB And he is close to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. And Psalm 147:3 WEB.
Regarding your feelings of loneliness and the desire for a family, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing. Psalm 37:4 WEB. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen."
We also want to address the topic of marriage. We believe that marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, as outlined in the Bible. In Genesis 2:24 WEB. Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. It is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. We encourage you to pray for a godly spouse and to seek a marriage that honors God. Be encouraged by the Lord and be willing and available for Him to bring the spouse you are looking for across your path.
In your despair, remember that God has a purpose for your life, and He can turn even the most painful experiences into something beautiful. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our dear friend to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their life. Lord, they are overwhelmed by depression, loneliness, and the losses they have experienced. We pray that You would comfort them in their sorrow and heal their broken heart. Help them to find their satisfaction in You alone, Lord Jesus.
Father God in Heaven, we ask You to help them overcome these feelings of despair and to trust in Your timing for their life. Give them the strength to endure and to find hope in You. Surround them with Your love and remind them of Your promises.
We also pray for their future spouse, that You would prepare them and bring them together in Your perfect timing. We ask for Your guidance and wisdom as they navigate through this difficult season.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of depression and suicide. Lord, give them a renewed sense of purpose and a desire to live for You. Help them to see that their life is precious and valuable to You.
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your love for us.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church community. Share your struggles with trusted believers who can walk alongside you and provide practical help and encouragement. Remember that you are never alone, and that God is always with you.
Lastly, we want to remind you that God can use your story to help others who may be going through similar situations. Trust in Him, and allow Him to work in your life.
Take courage, and remember that there is hope in Jesus.
