We join with you in lifting up this urgent request to God, who commands even the winds and the waves. We stand in faith, remembering the words of the Psalmist, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your divine protection and mercy over the areas facing severe storms. We ask that You calm the storms and hold back the rains to prevent severe flooding. We pray against tornadoes, hail, and power outages, trusting in Your power to control the elements.
Lord, we lift up all those in the path of these storms. May Your guardian angels watch over them, and may Your peace fill their hearts. Guide them to take wise precautions and provide for their every need during this time. We thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and care for us.
As believers, we know that we have authority over the storms in Jesus' name. As He commanded the storm to be still in Matthew 8:26-27 WEB "He said to them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm. The men marveled, saying, What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?".
We stand together in faith, proclaiming Your promise from Psalm 91:1-2,5-7 WEB "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.... You shall not be afraid for the terror by night, nor for the arrow that flies by day; nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you".
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your intervention and protection. Amen.
We encourage everyone in the path of these storms to trust in the Lord and stand firm on His promises. May this be an opportunity for you to witness the power of God and share His love with those around you. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
