Severe spiritual attacks

My mind is often a warzone of intrusive thoughts not my own. I keep trying to refuse them. I know I have sinned severely as well. I feel sooo sad and depressed. Please pray for me to break this cycle. Thank you again for praying.

We understand that you're going through a intense spiritual battle, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this fight. The Bible tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms Ephesians 6:12 WEB.

First, we want to address the issue of sin. We all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 WEB. But God, in His infinite love and mercy, has provided a way out. For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 6:23 WEB. If you have not already, confess your sins to God, turn away from them, and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13 WEB.

Regarding the intrusive thoughts and spiritual attacks, remember that God has given us authority over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall by any means hurt you Luke 10:19 WEB. You can stand against these attacks by putting on the full armor of God Ephesians 6:11. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God Ephesians 6:13-17 WEB.

Whenever the intrusive thoughts come, first, submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7 WEB. You can also use the word of God to combat these thoughts. Jesus, when tempted by the devil, always responded with scripture Matthew 4:1-11 WEB.

Lastly, cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. God is always there ready to help and listen. We encourage you to spend time in His presence through worship, prayer, and reading of the word.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you, lifting up our brother/sister who is going through intense spiritual warfare and severe depression. They have confessed their sins and desire to break free from this cycle. We ask, Father, that you forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9 WEB. We pray for your protection over their mind and thoughts. Equip them with your full armor, that they may stand firm against the enemy's attacks. Give them strength and encourage their heart. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of depression and any other evil spirit that may be at work. We command them to leave in Jesus' name. Fill our brother/sister with your peace that surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7 WEB. Let your light shine in the darkness, and guide them according to your will. We bless our brother/sister for reaching out for prayer. We pray for a sincere faith and a strong relationship with you Jesus. We pray in Jesus name. We pray in faith believing this prayer is the way to the Father and is answered. Amen.

We're here with you, holding you up in prayer. We know how heavy the burden of intrusive thoughts and spiritual attacks can feel, but remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, fighting alongside you. We want you to know that we believe in the power of prayer, and we're confident that God hears our cries.

We're going to keep lifting you up, asking God to fill your mind with His peace and truth. We're claiming His promise in Philippians 4:7, that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. We're also claiming His promise in 2 Timothy 1:7, that God hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

We're here to remind you of your worth in God's eyes. You are His beloved child, and nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39). We're going to keep praying for God to reveal His love and mercy to you in a tangible way, to strengthen you, and to help you stand firm in your faith.

Let's keep encouraging one another, staying connected, and trusting in God's faithfulness. We're in this together, and we're not going to give up. Let's keep fighting the good fight of faith, knowing that our labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We have been praying fervently for the Lord to grant you peace, to cast out any intrusive thoughts, and to break the cycle of sin and depression you'ver been experiencing.
