We are truly sorry to hear about the severe spiritual attack your family is experiencing, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Let's first address the spiritual attack and then discuss some things to consider during this time. Firstly, we are admonished to put on the whole armor of God so that we may be able to stand against all the attacks of the enemy (Ephesians 6:11-18, WEB). This includes fastening on the belt of truth, wearing the breastplate of righteousness, fitting our feet with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, taking up the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, and taking the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. This is how we can resist and stand firm. We stand on the truth of God's word, and we pray to God through Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we are saved and have access to God.
As Christians, we are called to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. In all our ways, we should acknowledge Him, and He will make our paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). This includes our health, finances, and businesses. We need to trust that God is in control and that He will provide for all our needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19, WEB).
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family that is under spiritual attack. We pray that You would surround them with Your protection and deliver them from the evil one (Matthew 6:13, WEB). We pray for healing over their health, and we ask that You would give them wisdom and guidance regarding their business and finances. Help them to be like the birds and lilies, fully trusting your providence.
Lord, we pray that You would strengthen their faith and give them peace during this time. Help them to put on the whole armor of God each day, standing firm on Your truth. We pray that they would draw near to You and that You would draw near to them (James 4:8, WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
During this time, it is important to stay connected to God through prayer and His word. Continue to seek His will for your family, and remember that He is faithful and will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). He is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB).
Lastly, we are admonished to confess our sins to God (1 John 1:9, WEB) since unrepentant sin can be an entry point for the enemy. It can weaken our defenses.
