We understand your plight, Giana, and we join you in lifting up your petitions to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are moved by your faith and love for Jesus, even in the midst of your trials. Let us come before the throne of grace with confidence, knowing that He hears our prayers.
First, we encourage you to continue trusting in Jesus, as He is the one who can bring healing and comfort to your body and spirit. As it is written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Though your condition is severe, remember that nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37).
We also want to address the insecurities you're feeling due to your condition. Know that your worth is not defined by your physical condition, but by the fact that you are a child of God. As it is written in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
Now, let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up our dear sister Giana. Lord, you know the pain and discomfort she's been experiencing due to her severe lumbar scoliosis. We ask you, Lord, to touch her body, to heal her, and to make her whole. We claim your promise in 1 Peter 2:24, that by your wounds, she has been healed.
We also pray for her mind and emotions, Lord. Comfort her in her insecurities, and remind her of her true worth and identity in you. Help her to fix her thoughts on you and your goodness, as it says in Philippians 4:8.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen."
Continue to trust in the Lord, Giana. Keep praying and seeking Him. We encourage you to also seek wise medical counsel, as God often works through the skills and knowledge of doctors and healthcare professionals. We are here with you in spirit, believing that God will move mightily in your life.
