We are truly sorry to hear about your injury, Oliviadancer, and we are here to pray and offer support during this challenging time. We appreciate that you have mentioned praying in Jesus' name. Without that access to God, our prayers would not be heard. Let's stand together in faith, seeking God's will for your healing and future.
Firstly, let's remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and God cares about our physical well-being. "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." We need to take care of our bodies and we need to be healthy to fulfill the purposes God has for us. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB).
In times of uncertainty and suffering, we can find comfort in God's word. "Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6 WEB). It's normal to feel anxious, especially when our future seems unclear, but God encourages us to bring our concerns to Him, trusting that He hears and cares for us.
Regarding healing, we know that God has the power to heal, but we do not know if that is what God has planned for you. "He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). Sometimes God does have a plan that includes physical suffering. We can be assured of this. We do not know for sure that our healing will be on this earth. We may not be healed until Jesus calls us home and gives us a new body. We need to be prepared for that and accept that possibility.
But we may not need to get to that point. It is possible that God will heal you now before your time to go home.
"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (James 5:14-16 WEB). You may need to seek out elders of the assembly. You should be prepared to confess your sins at that time. Confessing, repenting and turning from your sins may be the key to your healing. You should be prepared for that.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in Jesus name, lifting up Oliviadancer. We ask for Your healing touch upon her ankle. We pray for Your will to be done. We know that You have a plan in this and we ask that You will reveal that plan. If it is your will to heal, then heal her completely, so that she can continue to glorify You through her dancing and number her days to fulfil her destiny. If it is your will to have her continue to be injured, show her your plans for that. In the meantime, we pray for Your comfort and peace to fill her heart and mind, casting out all anxiety and sadness. Help her to trust in You, knowing that Your plans for her are good, and that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. Guide her medical team and give them wisdom to provide the best care for her.
Father we pray that she can seek out a pastor or elder, have them pray over her and anoint her with oil in the name of the Lord. We pray that she will confess her sins. If she has committed sins, we pray that she will be forgiven.
Surround her with Your love, and help her to find her strength and hope in You during this time. We ask this in Jesus' name and through His blood shed on the cross for our sins. We pray for your mercy and grace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As you wait on the Lord, continue to trust in Him and His timing. God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). He sees the bigger picture and knows what's best for us. Keep praising Him, even in the midst of your suffering, and may His peace be with you. God gives us assurance that all things work together for good to those that love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. You may have some good things coming out of this. Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB).
