Miranda, we hear your cry for help and we stand with you in prayer and support. Firstly, we want to assure you that God is a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
We commend you for taking steps to protect your emotional well-being by distancing yourself from those who cause you harm. The Bible tells us, "Don't be deceived. 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals'" (1 Corinthians 15:33, WEB). It's important to surround yourself with people who build you up and encourage you in your faith.
However, we want to gently remind you that it is not the number of prayers or who prays for you that matters, but the power of God that works through those prayers. Jesus said, "Again, I say to you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them" (Matthew 18:19-20, WEB). So, we encourage you to find comfort and strength in knowing that even a few prayers, offered in faith and in the name of Jesus, can make a significant difference.
We also want to address the financial struggles you're facing. Remember that God is Jehovah Jireh, our provider (Genesis 22:14, WEB). In Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), Jesus reminds us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will wear. He assures us that our heavenly Father knows that we need all these things and that we should seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up Miranda to you. She is hurting, Lord, and needs your comfort and peace. Surround her with your love and protection. Give her wisdom and discernment in her relationships, and bring godly friends into her life who will encourage and build her up. Ease her financial burdens, Lord, and provide for her needs according to your riches in glory. Give her the strength to endure and the faith to trust in you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to leave you with this verse: "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Keep trusting in God, Miranda. He is faithful and will see you through this challenging time.
