Miranda, we are here with you in spirit, and we have lifted your name in prayer. We are so thankful that you have reached out to us and that you have called on the name of Jesus. It is only in His name that we can find true help and healing.
We want to remind you that you are not alone, even when it feels that way. God is always with you, and He cares deeply about what you are going through. In Psalm 34:18 WEB it says, The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
Depression can be a dark and lonely place, but God is always there with you, even in the darkness. In Psalm 23:4 WEB, David writes, Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
We are praying that God will grant you the sleep that you need. In Psalm 127:2 WEB, it says, It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved.
We are also praying that God will open doors for you and provide the help that you need. In Matthew 7:7-8 WEB, Jesus says, Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
Finally, we want to encourage you to cast all your cares on Jesus, because He cares for you. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, Peter writes, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Miranda in prayer. Lord, she is struggling with severe depression, and she needs Your help. We pray that You will comfort her, and remind her that You are always with her. We pray that You will grant her the sleep that she needs, and that You will open doors for her to receive the help that she needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Miranda, please keep holding on to Jesus. He is your hope and your salvation. Keep talking to Him, and keep reading His Word. Also, please reach out to your local church or Christian community.
