Miranda, we hear your cry for help and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance. You're facing a multitude of challenges, from depression and unemployment to family strife and health issues. But remember, even in the darkest times, God is with us and His love never fails.
First, let's address your feelings of depression and loneliness. God promises us in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." And in Isaiah 41:10, He assures us, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
Regarding your unemployment and financial struggles, God wants us to trust Him with our needs. In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus teaches us not to worry about what we will eat or drink, or what we will wear, because our heavenly Father knows we need these things. Instead, we should seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
It's also important to address the negative energy you're receiving from others. While it's good to be there for your friends, you should also set boundaries for your own mental health. Ecclesiastes 3:7 tells us there is "a time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak." And remember, as it says in Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
You mentioned your sister Iris and the pain she has caused you. Jesus tells us in Matthew 18:15-17 to go to our brother or sister who has sinned against us and point out their fault, just between the two of us. If they don't listen, we should take one or two others with us, and if they still don't listen, we should tell it to the church. But remember, we should do this with a spirit of love and gentleness, as it says in Galatians 6:1.
Finally, we want to pray for you, Miranda. Remember that our help comes from the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth (Psalm 124:8). Let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our sister Miranda. Lord, she is hurting, she is struggling, and she feels alone. But we know that You are with her, even in her darkest times. We pray for deliverance from her depression, for healing in her body, for provision in her finances, and for peace in her family. Give her the strength to go on, the wisdom to know what to do, and the courage to do it. Help her to fix her eyes on You, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose for her life. And most importantly, Lord, help her to know Your love, deeply and personally. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Miranda, keep holding on to God's promises. He loves you and He has not forgotten you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
