Urylia, we are here with you in prayer and support as you battle severe depression, anxiety, and addiction to your computer and phone. Know that you are deeply loved by God, who desires for you to live in freedom and joy.
Firstly, let us remind you of God's promises in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB): "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Even in your darkest moments, God is with you and will strengthen you.
Regarding your addiction, it is crucial to remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should honor God with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Excessive use of technology can hinder our relationship with God and others. It's important to set boundaries and seek help to overcome this addiction.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Urylia. Lord, You know the depth of their struggle with depression, anxiety, and addiction. We ask for Your healing power to fill Urylia's mind, body, and spirit. Grant them the strength to resist the temptation of excessive technology use and replace it with a hunger for Your Word and presence. Remind them of their worth in You, that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Guide them to professional help if needed and surround them with supportive community. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
